KunsHuis

We know that working with an organization such as ours for the first time often prompts a few questions. How successful will we be in interpreting your needs? How can we do it most effectively? How can we do it most efficiently? How much will it cost? Let me explain…

Our Charges

Like all service organizations, our invoices are based on the time we invest in a project. We ALWAYS provide a detailed estimate for approval before starting a project. We adhere to our estimates unless project specifications change. We also do retainer agreements, based on each client’s unique needs.

Laying the Foundation

The first things we do after being assigned a project is schedule an information-gathering meeting (this can also happen via email). It will help you sharpen your focus and objectives, and it will help us ensure that what we produce is not only creatively excellent, but also strategically targeted.

Developing Ideas

Graphic Design takes time. Despite popular misconceptions, good creative work doesn't often come in a flash of inspiration; usually it comes from lots of trial and error. This is why we also need to take the time to consider several approaches (concepts). Communicating deadlines is crucial!

Workflow

KunsHuis needs to schedule workflow in a businesslike fashion, we ASK you to respect this and discuss all work needed in time. KunsHuis understand that there are exceptions to the rule and some jobs are unforeseen. We are striving for balance in workflow 80% of the time.

Satisfaction

During the project we keep you informed of our progress. Activities that will affect the schedule or budget are identified in writing. Our goal is to keep things moving ahead quickly, smoothly, and cost-effectively; to make sure that we'll produce that what you hired us for.

How would you like your Design? You may pick TWO

You can have it fast, cheap or great. Pick two.

Let me explain. This is the basics of the mechanics between the designer and the client. It is known as the project management triangle. There’s a saying that clients can have good, fast, or cheap. It is a very difficult and almost unachievable to have all three options.

1. Fast

Fast + Great = Expensive

Choose good and fast and we will postpone every other job, cancel all appointments and stay up 25-hours a day just to get your job done. But, don't expect it to be cheap.

OR

Fast + Cheap = Inferior

Choose fast and cheap and expect an inferior job delivered on time. You truly get what you pay for, and in our opinion this is the least favorable choice of the three.

2. Great

Great + Cheap = Slow

Choose good and cheap and we will do a great job for a discounted price, but be patient until we have a free moment from other clients.
